Male Dog, Female Pig or Truly Freed

On the Road - From Single to a Couple - Choices & Perspectives…
Male Dog, Female Pig or Truly Freed
by py thomas © April 2, 2015

AUTHOR’S NOTE: On a personal note, I know these things to be true that I’m sharing, as I like many of you, had to learn the hard way. It is my hope that you, or others you may be prompted to share this with will hear the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking to them, and open their ears to hear, and their eyes to see so that we can truly be freed from the hidden bondages that so easily ensnare and trap us.

The enslavement of men to become dogs and women to become pigs…

19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage. 20 For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Master and Savior Y’shua the Messiah, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. 21 For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. 22 But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”
(2 Peter 19:-22)

To you single folks, the Holy Scriptures contain a plethora of good advice as it relates to qualities to look for in a prospective significant other (be it personal or a business partnership).  For example, in 2 Peter 19-22, it describes what I like to call the “BS (Backsliding), Back-Rubbing Perpetrators.”  They have backslid (fallen/returned back to a carnal lifestyle), and to the old adage, “misery loves company,” they seek your company – meet you (who’s endeavoring to stay on the Ancient paths) and here they come saying things and presenting lying doctrines and rationales to you such as:

·         I grew up / was raised in church/synagogue/temple but ask them who, what and where they worship now, and the next response you’ll get is something like this…

·         Uhh, I don’t go to Church/Temple now, ummm I’m a very spiritual person – code words for “I’ve walked away from the Commandments of YHWH, and am doing nothing to die to self, let alone striving to be formed into the image/pattern of Y’shua the Messiah; and I prefer to “tweak” the scriptures to choose which ones apply to me, and which don’t.  I do this because I started tiptoeing away from Elohim years ago, and have gradually built momentum in “loving me” more than anything and anyone, (including YHWH & Y’shua) and therefore the pursuit of my own personal happiness is the number one priority, by whatever means necessary.  And of course that includes trespassing on YaH’s property – the set-apart ones – they are the most attractive targets I like to pursue…they’re nice people. “

Thus,  their backsliding has gone from tiptoeing, to brisk walking away, to a comfortable jogging away; and soon to a fast-break running at full speed in the opposite direction of the Ancient paths, but deluded and deceived in their reprobate mind  that they are actually becoming more “spiritual”… and they actually are….they’re becoming more filled with the anti-Messiah spirit (spirit of the Devil) vs. the  Holy Spirit who is the ONE assigned to teach us all things (at least to those who avail themselves to be teachable).

You may even feel attracted to them (initially), and think that perhaps your life will have an impact on them to return to YHWH, but don’t be deceived…if they are not pursuing YHWH on their own after backsliding, chances are unless they come to godly sorrow for their trespasses, there will be no real repentance produced in their lives.

One of the reasons some are attracted is because of the familiar spirit that resides in the “BS Back-Rubbing Perpetrators.”   For example, if they are under the influence of a physical lust spirit, and you had or are still struggling with this spirit, you better believe those two lust spirits will be attracted to each other, but it’s ultimately for your destruction, and not for your good.  RUN!

Male Dogs & Female Pigs.  Verse 22  of 2 Peter , chapter 19 “should” serve as an “in your face” reminder to each of us.  Note the reference to a dog is in the masculine, and the reference to the pig is in the feminine (a “sow” is a female pig); and also note the order that YHWH deals with us in – the reference is to man first; and the woman second.  Have a “Selah” moment and give this some serious consideration.

If you don’t, here’s the second consideration:

“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; 9 but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was.” (2 Timothy 3:1-8)

Now I ask you, do you want to remain a gullible woman (the pig who returns to mud), or to come out from among them?  Likewise men, do you want to be viewed as a dog all the days of your life on the brink of facing judgment for your pride, or perhaps consider changing course, becoming a man like David – a man after Elohim’s own heart…walking with the greatest strength – humility?

Or, you meet someone who loves money and money is their god; and you in turn still have a lust for material things, then the one who has walked away from Y’shua to worship the god of money (Mammon) will find a deceptive attraction to each other…which is also designed to destroy both of you down the road (sin and evil are actually designed to destroy you if you were not aware of that)…ever see an episode of “American Greed?”  Prisons are full of folks who would do anything necessary to feed their covetous thirst for money and things – from drug dealers to white collar criminals who lie, cheat and steal the money and resources of the weak and blind.

Here’s one of the least likely suspects that is a master of disguise, is the one who is backslidden but still goes to a weekly worship service, attends Bible study, very involved in their local fellowship.  However, their area of dread (and warning to us) is their prideful and critical natures under the guise of exhortation but are really a fruit inspector (always questioning the fruits of the spirit in others because theirs is corrupt) above reproach and correction.

These types like to be the chairperson of the “Do Good Committees…” the scriptures call them “loud clanging cymbals…” devoid of the true love of Y’shua – no real compassion, no real stretching or willingness to go beyond their comfort zone for the sake of others.  All show, no go.  They love position and power, and disdain correction and humility.   They love to boast about their knowledge of scripture, even though there has been no submission in their lives (especially their private lives) to the Word of YHWH.  (Catch them at home, and you wouldn’t know if you were meeting a hardcore pagan or what – their lifestyles are full of contradiction.)  Buyer beware!

There is hope although for the backslider:

15 For thus says the High and Lofty One
Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:
“I dwell in the high and holy place,
With him who has a contrite and humble spirit,
To revive the spirit of the humble,
And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
16 For I will not contend forever,
Nor will I always be angry;
For the spirit would fail before Me,
And the souls which I have made.
17 For the iniquity of his covetousness
I was angry and struck him;
I hid and was angry,
And he went on backsliding in the way of his heart.

18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him;

I will also lead him,
And restore comforts to him
And to his mourners.

It is YHWH who will heal and deliver a backslider…sorry, it’s not YOU who can do this.   YOU can pray and stay out of the way…and be comforted at the backslider’s restoration.  Then and only then you “may” want to initiate the rules of engagement.

Lastly, a wise person with understanding should be desired above all things.  This is what wisdom is, what it does; and clearly why we should desire it ourselves and as a primary character trait of the one we seek in an interpersonal relationship.

11For wisdom is better than rubies, And all delights are not comparable to her. 12“I, wisdom, have dwelt with insight, And I find knowledge, foresight. 13“The fear of is to hate evil. I have hated pride and arrogance, And the evil way, And the perverse mouth. 14“Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding, mightiness is mine. 15“By me sovereigns reign, And rulers make righteous decrees. 16“By me princes rule, and nobles, All the judges of the earth. 17“I love those who love me, And those who earnestly seek me do find me. 18“Riches and esteem are with me, Enduring wealth and righteousness. 19“My fruit is better than gold and fine gold, And my increase than choice silver. 20“I walk in the way of righteousness, In the midst of the paths of right- ruling, 21“To bestow substance on those who love me, And to fill their treasuries. 22 possessed me, The beginning of His way, As the first of His works of old.  (Proverbs 8:11-22)

Accepting our singleness on YHWH’s terms, will help to minimize the frustration and the distraction to not feeling fulfilled, loneliness, and whatever else we desire in interpersonal relationships.  Learning how to pour more of ourselves into the lives of others such as volunteering, is true ministry (service); and prepares us for marriage.

Shalom, Shalom to those near and to those far off.

Who Exactly Will be Declared Righteous?

Are You in Position to be Declared Righteous?
by py thomas,  (c) February 15, 2015

13 For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. (Romans 2:13)

Note that the scripture states “will be declared” denoting of a future event based on our current and past action of obedience or lack thereof.  The apostle Paul, like everyone else in the New Testament only referred to what was written and established in the beginning (what we refer to as the Old Testament), as there was no New Testament during their times to refer to...so you see, nothing, nor has YHVH changed His requirements out of those who name themselves Followers (aka Believers, Christians, Messianics, etc.)  and enter into relationship with HIM. Yeshua (Jesus), His followers, disciples and apostles...all followed and kept YaH's law (Torah - which is just another word for describing YaH's guidelines and standards for righteous living).

I grow more and more convinced that people’s aversion to the word or mention of “law, commandments or Torah” is due to our sin nature going into high revolt.  Our flesh will always oppose that which YHWH has deemed unholy, corrupt, wicked or evil.  It’s part of the curse of our inherited sin nature.   Sin hates truth and righteousness...thus, it would behoove us to consider the wisdom that teaches us where the battle and resistance is coming from in us.  It’s our flesh and sin nature battling to keep us from being declared “righteous” and can and will be accomplished UNLESS we turn from rebellion and enter into obedience – YHVH’s way – not our own.

If we try to keep Shabbat apart from Torah...then we have no true rest. Because YHVH's rest is only achieved through His Torah...His Word...that became flesh and dwelt among us.  We deceive ourselves if we believe we can enter in YHVH’s presence (Shabbat/rest) apart from His living Torah, His Son.  Just as Y’shua lives, and is life; likewise there’s no rest if there is death.  If we have access to eternal life, rest and peace in this life through Y’shua’s resurrection which fully embodies Torah...without Torah we have not entered nor kept YHVH’s holy Shabbat.   Y’shua our living Torah has made provision for us to enter into life (which is rest) and not death (which is torment).  Choose who you will serve this day...choose life and not death.

The laws are given to us as a gift and a pathway to redemption and restoration, just as the Torah (law) teaches us the importance of the gift ELOHIM gave us – the Shabbat – a day of rest, and a feast day.  Who could be upset with having a paid day off, and a table of His Word and blessings of the fruit of our labors spread out before us to enjoy?  None but one in utter darkness would reject such a beautiful gift of blessings from our Creator YHVH.  If you believe in Y’shua (Jesus), your belief should also include what the Father ELOHIM tells us to do.  It’s all about choices...choose wisely, as it will determine whether you are “declared righteous.”  It is only YHVH’s righteous that will be allowed to enter into His eternal kingdom.  Selah

Too Impatient for Patience? Can You Really Afford the Cost?

A True Hebrew Laments, Confesses & Repents…
by py thomas, © February 5, 2015

28For he is not a Yehudite  (Hebrew/Jew) who is so outwardly, neither is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. 29But a Yehudite (Hebrew/Jew) is he who is so inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in Spirit, not literally, whose praise is not from men but from Elohim.
(Romans 2:28-29)

When we choose to surrender to Torah (YaH’s righteous guidelines found in both the Original Covenant (OT) and the New Covenant (NT), will yield YaH’s (not ours) the desired results.  Personally, YaH has and continues to work on me in this area of patience as far back as I can remember.  We all need to have patience, as it works a good work in us…it takes patience waiting on the promise of eternity…so why not begin practicing patience and resting with a quiet spirit while we wait for Messiah’s return.

But that’s a beautiful thing and I’m glad about it!  Anything worth having requires patience and diligence.  Therefore I attest and avow that the true sign of patience is this, a quiet spirit.  Selah

Based on Lamentations 3:26, which reads:

It is good that one should hope and wait quietly For the salvation of YHVH”

Patience’s good work is part of the good work of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), which YHVH promised to complete in us.  However, we need to participate in the process since we have a free will to choose (accept or reject) how the Ruach is leading us.

The Torah (YHVH’s guidelines for righteous living) and the Master Yeshua’s Shabbat (Sabbath) were all created and given to us as gifts.  Yeshua modeled the Torah, which is the ancient  pathway to our eternal rest.  And, we have no rest or peace apart from Yeshua as HE is the bridge to our reconciled relationship with YHVH.

“And YHVH spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘You shall be holy, for I YHVH your Elohim am holy.

3 ‘Every one of you shall revere his mother and his father, and keep My Sabbaths: I am YHVH your Elohim”    (Leviticus 19:1-3)

Because of Yeshua, we now have the opportunity to spend eternity with HIM vs. going to hell for failure to come to repentance from sin – especially because sin is what separated us from ELOHIM (GOD).

We have no rest (Shabbat) without the RESToration of Yeshua’s atonement through the shedding of HIS innocent blood for our sin.  Once we have made our confession of faith, let us remain mindful to not choose to stray from living apart from Torah, which sadly is living apart from Yeshua).  Instead, let us continue our race, not allowing the traditions of men to hinder us…but let us complete that which is placed in front of us.  Living apart from Torah, is death and defeat.  Besides, we’re called to be “more than conquerors!”

33Who shall bring any charge against Elohim’s chosen ones? It is Elohim who is declaring right. 34Who is he who is condemning? It is Messiah who died, and furthermore is also raised up, who is also at the right hand of Elohim, who also makes intercession for us. 35Who shall separate us from the love of the Messiah? Shall pressure, or distress, or persecution, or scarcity of food, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 36As it has been written, “For Your sake we are killed all day long, we are reckoned as sheep of slaughter.” 37But in all this we are more than overcomers (conquerors) through Him who loved us. 38For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor messengers nor principalities nor powers, neither the present nor the future, 39nor height nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of Elohim which is in Messiah our Master (Romans 8:33-39)

YaH’s righteous guidelines for living a life of trust (faith) so we can be found well-pleasing to HIM is found in both Testaments (Covenants).  In the Original Testament we have the written guidelines (also known as Torah – the laws, commandments, statutes and precepts); and in the New Testament, we have the living Torah, which is Yeshua the Messiah, who is the “Word which dwelt among us as our example.  He is ultimately the One whose death and resurrection gave us victory over our “inherited” sinful natures.  Now, we have access to our new inheritance – a clean and forgiven life.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. (1 John 1:1-3)

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:14)

Shalom (perfecting peace) to those near and to those far off, as we patiently wait for His return…

Let us be thankful for our seasons, Shabbats and Holy Feasts unto YHVH the Father, Creator and Righteous Judge for our preparation for holy habitation with Yeshua the Messiah!

Salted Sheep or Sweetened Liars

Salt, Sugar & You
by py thomas

Copyright protected.
May not be used without the expressed written permission from the author.  (c) January 13, 2015.

Have you ever noticed it can be difficult to distinguish between sugar and salt whether in its raw state or processed with your natural eye? Both have striking physical similarities. Salt is a preservative and a flavor enhancer. You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. (Matthew 5:13)

Have you undergone curing and processing by the Word of YHVH to preserve and share, or have you allowed processed sugar to cause what I will refer to as “Type YOU Soul Diabetes?”
5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He (the Holy Spirit) who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Master (Y’shua) will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason Elohim (God) will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2:5-12)

The Unfortunate Alternative: “Type YOU Soul Diabetes & Itching Ears”Therefore, be encouraged in HIS promises...do not exchange the truth for a lie just because there seems to be a growing desire for “smooth”words, “sugar-coated” words; or because the trial seems to be heating up and trying to lure you onto the broad road that leads to eternal destruction (the type of destruction that can’t be undone). Y’shua (Jesus) tells us, “13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14)

Instead of our “being the salt of the earth” tasked with preserving YaH’s word and testimonies, many have exchanged our saltiness for refined processed sugar (a.k.a worldliness and lawlessness).

Sugar That Causes Ears to Itch
“3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.” (2 Timothy 4:3-4) “17 Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. 18 For those who are such do not serve our Master Yeshua the Messiah, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.” (Romans 16:17-18)

Sugar Facts
  • Sugar doesn’t require change nor accountability,
  • Sugar instead brings a sweet smelling aroma and taste
  • Like diabetes, it brings such strong delusion that it ultimately leads to gangrene - slow rotting of the flesh and limbs unto the point of death.
  • Sugar makes one develop chronic itching ears and constantly works at leading one off the Ancient paths (the Torah);
  • Continual consumption of sugar causes hearing problems and is evidenced by the manifestation of one’s desire to only want to hear “smooth words” – for a lie and deception are never satisfied.
  • Only “...godliness with contentment is great gain. (1 Timothy 6:6)”not great loss.
Salt preserves truth, sugar hides truth with lies. Sugar is highly addicting and it easily becomes a bad habit which brings obesity, decay, rot, in your spirit man. “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. (Matthew 5:13)

Be Encouraged – It’s the “Salty” Saints Who Win
Don't give up! I know how it is when you "feel" like you have more than you can bear, but YaH will give you a lifeline and save you if you will cry out to Him from the depths of your soul. It will require the realization that your life depends on HIS answer. "Many are the afflictions of the righteous; But YaH delivers him out of them all." (Psalms 34:19)

So I say to you, remember the former days when He sent and spoke His Word into your other situations – don’t forget that it DID NOT RETURN VOID, but absolutely accomplished the purpose(s) for the very reason(s) YaH spoke/sent His Word into your current situation. HE IS our ever-present help in our time of need and trouble.

10 “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater,
11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:10-11)

With great thanksgiving in remembrance, from your heart flowing to your lips, bring Him the worship (first) that He so truly deserves; and being anxious for nothing, you now ask from a place of understanding, calm, hope and trust. Your petitions are now made known. “6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

Now that you have allowed yourself to receive His promise, evidenced by your willingness to be broken before Him and to be made humble before Him, further positioning yourself for the mercies of YaH that you might be saved. “28 You will save the humble people; But Your eyes are on the haughty, that You may bring them down.” (2 Samuel 22:28)

Closing thought and meditation:
Cast your burden on the YHVH,
And He shall sustain you;
He shall never permit the righteous to be moved (Psalm 55:22)
NOTE: The word “moved” is the (4131 Hebrew word, “mowt” to waver, by impl. to slip, shake, fall: - be carried, cast, be out of course, be fallen in decay.

May you allow your heart, mind, body, soul and spirit to become extremely salty by the Word of YaH, so that His testimonies will be manifested preserved in your life and witness for HIS praise and glory. Shalom (perfecting peace) to those near and to those far off.

The Problem with You & Racism?

Got Problems, Got Racism, Got Sin?  Get Torah – Get Y'shua
by py thomas
© December 4, 2014

Here's my two cents worth on Ferguson, New York City and all the other places on this planet where the SIN of racism is rampant. I've read and heard people talking about "raising their hands" as a sign/gesture of what happened to the young man killed in Ferguson. Well, I say that while you're lifting your hands up...lift them up to ELOHIM - Creator & Righteous Judge (GOD)...it’s time for the true Followers of Y'shua (Jesus) to fast and pray...we know what the Word of YHVH says about spiritual warfare...we're not fighting flesh and blood...but powers & principalities... Here's your big chance to put all your learning into action...many are called, but few will enter in...Which will you be?

“A prudent man forsees evil and hides himself;  The simple pass on and are punished.”
(Proverbs 27:12)

WORD STUDY:
·         Prudent 6175 (6191) – Hebrew word, “aruwm (aw-room)”; to be very aware, to deal subtilly

o   SUB'TILLY, adv. Thinly; not densely.   1. Finely; not grossly or thickly.   2. Artfully; cunningly; craftily; as a scheme subtilly contrived.

·         Forseeth (Foresees) 7200 – Hebrew word, “raah (raw aw); to see (discern, perceive, consider)

·        Hides 5641 – Hebrew word, “cathar (saw-thar)”; to hide by covering

·        Simple 6612 – Hebrew word “pethaiy (peth-aw-ee); from 6601 to make simple in a sinister way

·        Pass 5674 -  Hebrew word, “abar (aw-bar)” to cross - cover and ignore; pass by

·       Punished  6064 – Hebrew word, “anash (aw-nash)”; to urge; by impl. to inflict a penalty - condemned to punishment

·       Evil 7451 (7489) – Hebrew word, “ra” (rah); from 7489, bad, adversity, calamity, hurt, trouble, wretchedness, wrong, to spoil, to make good for nothing; i.e. bad physically or morally.

Making it Plain & Keeping it Simple
A "very aware" person is able to discern evil and has the wisdom to hide themself with the covering of YHVH.  So what makes a person to be “very aware?”  Only YHVH’s Word – His Torah makes men wise – to be very aware.

However, those who have been seduced into sinister-like thinking (blinded by the ruler of darkness of this age – the simple) willfully cover, ignore and then pass into evil without a thought; and because of this, will be condemned to punishment. Otherwise known as one who has formed a reprobate mind – a mind sealed in the transgression of their sin – no longer able to even discern that area of their life as sin - its when YHVH is no longer speaking to them about their sin.  (Its what I called "signed sealed & delivered to eternal death).

Without the Ruach speaking to us, we are left to our own devices, which sadly is the fallen sin nature we were born with.  There is no hope for change or redemption once we go down the slippery slope of the reprobate mind - it is when our rebellion is so extreme, that we call the abominable/profane holy, and the holy profane/abominable.
The subtlety of a reprobate mind, is that because they can still discern right from wrong in other areas, yet they still think the sin they’ve embraced is no longer sin, but calling that which is wrong, right.  A good example of this would be the false justification for abortion (murder of innocent life); yet trumpet the rights of animals being treated cruelly.  Another would be the false justification of sexual immoral sins (fornication, homosexuality, bestiality, adultery, incest), yet believe in being good stewards over the environment…get the point?

This proverb is directly telling us that it is only a person who is aware and in tune with truth (YHVH’s WORD) that can discern evil.  There is no (truthful) discernment apart from the Ruach; there is no Ruach apart from Y’shua; and there is no Y’shua without the Father YHVH.  One can only recognize and take the correct action against evil with the discernment of the Ruach.  That is why the “prudent” know where and who to go to for protection/covering from evil, and those who practice evil.

The Conclusion of the Matter
Are you prudent, or simple?  Will you take note and discern the seasons we’re experiencing in connection with what the prophets of YHVH have left on record for us; and likewise respond with the call to fast and pray?  Or, will you be simple, take on the behavior of the rebellious and continue to go in the way of lying and foolishly think you will escape punishment from the One who created all things (including you)?  If you’re alive and reading this today, you have a chance to begin with this…

My son, do not forget My Torah, and let your heart watch over My commands; 2For length of days and long life and peace they add to you. 3Let not kindness and truth forsake you – Bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart, 4Thus finding favor and good insight In the eyes of Elohim (G-d) and man.

5Trust in YHVH with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; 6Know Him in ALL your ways, and He makes ALL your paths straight. 7Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear YHVH and turn away from evil. (Proverbs 3:1-7)

PURE EVIL

Pure Evil – Do You Recognize It?
by py thomas
(c) November 17, 2014

Let me start out saying that this post came from a place of vexation I was experiencing from the constant news feeds from YHVH’s people on social media. Nothing wrong with that in of itself, but few ever comment or provide any biblical insight as to how things have gotten to the place that they have.  I recognize that sometimes it is done intentionally to spark discussion, debates or for the shock factor.  However, it periodically really disturbs and grieves my spirit to the point of prayer.  Thus, I subsequently sought the Holy Spirit for understanding.  This is what was laid on my heart.  It’s sobering...but we all (self included) need the godly sorrow that yields repentance.  Our hope and judgment are all in verses 17 and 18 of Psalms 9.  We would be well-served and serve others well by taking heed (self included).

16 YHVH is known by the judgment He executes;
The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands.

Meditation.  Selah.

17 The wicked shall be turned into hell,
And all the nations that forget Elohim.
18 For the needy shall not always be forgotten;
The expectation of the poor shall not perish forever.

19 Arise, O YHVH,
Do not let man prevail;
Let the nations be judged in Your sight.
20 Put them in fear, O YHVH,
That the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah

(Psalms 9:16-19)

WARNING:  This may stir your spirit to actually do something right...

It is pure evil - the legislating and legalization of sin (as it was in the days of Noah).  We need to wake-up and consider the great sins that are already on the table against the U.S. The continued murdering of the innocent unborn babies in the womb, is just one of several great SINS the U.S. now faces and will be under great judgment and those who support and endorse evil.    Yes, ISIS and others are appointed for the Body of Messiah to wake us up…this is occurring on our watch…we’re supposed to be the salt of the earth – the representation of Yeshua’s righteousness!  …Woe, woe and woe - how we continue to grieve the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit).

9And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the beings of those having been slain for the Word of Elohim and for the witness which they held, 10and they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Master, set-apart and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”

11And there was given to each one a white robe, and they were told that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brothers, who would be killed as they were, was completed.” (Revelation 6:9-11)

These are martyred souls too – they were the innocent victims of those persecuting all that YHVH values – the sacredness of life; another commandment ignored (Thou shall not murder.)  Their souls are also crying out from beneath the altar.
Yeshu
a (Jesus) reminds us in Matthew 5:21-22 of YHVH’s commandment (note: just another
example of YHVH’s commandments still being valid and therefore we don’t have a license to sin, along with a “get out of jail free card” – life is not simply a board game…)

21 “You have heard that our fathers were told, ‘Do not murder,’ and that anyone who commits murder will be subject to judgment. 22 But I tell you that anyone who nurses anger against his brother will be subject to judgment; that whoever calls his brother, ‘You good-for-nothing!’ will be brought before the Sanhedrin; that whoever says, ‘Fool!’ incurs the penalty of burning in the fire of Gei-Hinnom (hell)!” (Matthew 5:21-22)

May YHVH (GOD) continue to be long-suffering with us until His appointed time of Yeshua’s return...I pray that some of you truly have ears to hear and eyes to see beyond just the world’s news; and tune into the GOOD NEWS of the Torah (Elohim (God’s guidelines for righteous living) and Yeshua the Messiah (known to some as Jesus Christ) – that we might be conformed into His image – dying to self daily so Yeshua can increase that much more in us.

- Join me in learning to be willing to suffer for His namesake.

Shalom (YHVH’s perfecting peace) to those near and to those far off.

Are You Strong? Are You Sure You're Strong?

I am Not a Strong Woman

News Flash:  I am not a strong woman.  Yet, I have heard this many times over the course of my “adult” life from those who know me, or others that I later discover have observed how I was handling one of life’s circumstances (and in some cases, not very well).   But to their defense, I will don the mind and face of leadership when the situation requires it – but even then, it is the leadership of the Holy Spirit directing my pathway…(other than my agreement to allow Yeshua to lead this frame made of dust (me).

The only moments of true strength I’ve ever displayed or had, were in my times of brokenness…when another layer of me surrendered and I agreed with Yeshua to nail it to the tree of crucifixion – to die to self, so He (Yeshua) could rise up in me and become my strength.  Heck, I wouldn’t even do that, had it not been for the Holy Spirit persistently prompting me through His still small voice to cry out to YHVH – the One who hears and answers the cries of His children.

My greatest weakness has been my greatest source of strength.  Because when I’m willing to be honest and know that unless YHVH says so, it’s not going to happen.  This is the point of recognition and reverence – understanding who I now belong to, and the importance and application of His Torah (guidelines for righteous living) in my life.  I have no excuse…Yeshua is our example…I just need to follow His lead by connecting His word to my mind, body, soul and spirit to demonstrate my love and thanksgiving to YHVH.

Where the Rubber Meets the Road.  While we try to manipulate our circumstances towards a favorable outcome for ourselves, I’m a witness to the truth that it becomes a vanity and a waste if it is outside the will of YHVH.  Like most of us, I’ve tried to be the captain of my own ship, when the ship (ark) never belonged to me to begin with!  The architect and builder of my ship is Yeshua.   If anything, it is during these realizations that I see the futility of my actions; and am reminded that the love poured out for me in Yeshua’s crucifixion is more than enough, and I simply need to stop thinking more highly of myself than I ought to; remembering that I was the one in need of forgiveness and redemption for all areas of my life.
It’s the sobering breaking in our hearts of who Yeshua is; and who we are not, which truly gives us strength – His strength.

My personal strength has an expiration date on it – with limitations and a short shelf life.   However, YHVH tells me that I can do all things through Messiah Yeshua who strengthens me (note:  not me strengthening myself, but Yeshua strengthening me).  And, at the point of my believing this; and by choosing to obey and follow the Holy Spirit's direction, it is in that very moment when people see strength – HIS (Yeshua) and not mine (I have no strength apart from saying “yes” to HIM).

So, my meditation and focus one day at a time is found in Psalms 34:15-22:

15 The eyes of YHVH are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their cry
.
16 The face of YHVH is against those who do evil,

To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

17 The righteous cry out, and YHVH hears,
And delivers them out of all their troubles.
18 The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart,

And saves such as have a contrite spirit.

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But YHVH delivers him out of them all.

20 He guards all his bones;

Not one of them is broken.
21 Evil shall slay the wicked,
And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.
22 YHVH redeems the soul of His servants,
And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned
.

It is my prayer that the Word of YHVH will not return void, but accomplish the purpose(s) for which it was sent over 2,000 years ago by our Jewish Messiah, Yeshua when His WORD willing gave up His life for me and the world for our sin so that those who have believed can be forgiven and freed to live the set-apart life in accordance with the Torah (YHVH’s guidelines for righteous living).

May the Shalom (perfecting peace) of YHVH be ever present to you and to those far off.

In His awesome & mighty name,

one of many maidservants of Messiah Yeshua… py thomas
